Progress for the past few months and another C & D

Hey all. Bet you thought I was dead.

The project has been going relatively smoothly. Other than being indirectly asked to stop doing it (I’m that (AMATEUR) translator mentioned)

After working with hacker named ViruX over IRC for the past two months. “I” had made progress (as in I didn’t do any work except answer one or two questions). Even so though, I have learned abit more about how these things progress

There was the matter of how the extracted text should be formatted. Since I was hoping for the project to be hosted on TLwiki, Virux suggested that I use a modified form of the Script Template. With that, I got the assistance of Tinfoil who worked with me in recreating the template so it looked good.

Then of course the scripts needed to be uploaded to the TLwiki. Because the Python tool was too complex, and I was incompetent in using the php tool, I asked for VDZ to upload everything. Which worked out geat

Of course as I arrived back from my College Orientation (oh yeah, I graduated from highschool BTW). ViruX revealed to me that the project had received a formal C & D (Cake and Dumplings) email/letter. Thus the site administrator was forced to remove the files, though he was kind enough to let take what I needed before it was removed (you’re a nice guy Moogy)

Not fully mentioned on encubed, is the fact that I anticipated the C & D (Chips & Dip) but hadn’t thought about how to progress past it. Eukleia/Eushully had already indicated their fear of feminists by re-releasing Meishoku no Reiki (Slave Princess of Darkness) as “PRINCESS OF DARKNESS” (in all english letters).

Ultimately we (meaning ViruX, Tinfoil, and I) decided to set-up an SVN server (which was only possible with Tinfoil countering my stupidity). Which I will not link to just yet  cause it looks ugly and I don’t wish for Eukleia to catch on (paranoid am I?).

tl;dr – I don’t mind Cheese & Danish (yeah I’m hungry), I’m a stubborn person so it really didn’t matter if any person in authority told me to stop translating the game. Feminists be damned, I will sit here smoking my non-existent cigarette (don’t smoke, it’s bad) with a face that resembles Tohsaka Rin’s uncaring chibi face.
